Antwerp and Coastline - European Summer

It is safe to assume that you will encounter mixed temperatures and rapid weather changes when traveling to the northern coast near Antwerp.

Always bring a jacket and, of course, your COKOON. Being on one of the miles-long beaches is truly magical. You can hike through a dune landscape sculpted by the elements and strong tides. It is idyllic, and the somewhat cool wind is just part of the experience.

This is where having your COKOON comes in handy. Not only is it easy to carry on an extended beach walk, as it only weighs around 550g, but also the nearest changing room might be quite far away, if it even exists.

But that's precisely what you want when you leave behind the bustling city of Antwerp and head for the serenity of this beautiful area.

Besides Bruges, Ghent, and its castle, Antwerp itself is a must-visit for fashion enthusiasts. Even though most people prefer to go to Amsterdam with its beautiful canals, I personally believe that Antwerp can compete for the title of one of the most fashionable cities in Europe. It boasts hip streetwear, cool coffee shops, and stylish old town districts. Rent a bike when you're there and ride through the tunnel to the other side of the Scheldt River, where you can enjoy a drink on the iconic riverside.
